Professor Kerry Arabena
Kerry Arabena is Managing Director of First 1000 Days Australia. A descendant of the Meriam people of the Torres Strait, she holds a Bachelor of Social Work (UQ) and an award-winning Doctorate in Environmental Science from the Australian National University. She is Professorial Fellow with the University of Melbourne, a Life-time Achievement Awardee for Indigenous Allied Health Association, a business owner, public speaker, mentor and director. First 1000 Days Australia builds on her extensive contributions in sexual and reproductive health, public health, administration, community development and research in this and other countries.
