Queensland Government: Moreton Bay & Townsville first kids off the rank for 1000 days of support

The Queensland Government invested $1.5 million over three years (2016–19) to implement First 1000 Days Australia in Townsville and Moreton Bay, thereby showing a commitment to taking a broader approach to improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families from these two regions will be the first children in Queensland to benefit from a vital new program aimed at giving them a better start to life.
